Located in Riviera Nayarit is the very exquisite and highly-anticipated new resort One&Only Mandarina. Expected to open November 1 after much delay, the property is located on 640 acres of beach and rainforest.
Guests of the hotel have two options across numerous room categories – the opportunity to sleep in a luxury treehouse style room with an outdoor living areas, private infinity pool, terrace and private butler service or enjoying a clifftop villa. What a dilemma! Perhaps two of the best villas are the Villa Jaguar, which has more than 2,900 square feet with a private pool, terraces, a hot tub and barbecue area and the incredible Villa Pacifico, which is 3,682 square feet with two private pools, walk-in closets, hot tub, a fully stocked wine fridge, full-screen movie theater, outdoor shower and outdoor dining area.
Those who come will enjoy the beach club, along with a beachside restaurant, infinity pools, daybeds, cabanas, and more. Besides the other restaurants, expect plenty of outdoor activities including a polo field, ziplining and hiking. The estuary on site is a great place to kayak or paddleboard.
Note-with phase 3 of openings in effect, the region is operating and allows international visitors. While tourists do not need to supply test results, there are safety guidelines in effect including social distancing and temperature checks at airports.
